Our Mission

South Howell County Ambulance District is, and will remain, "THE Difference in EMS Care" through our passionate commitment to excellence in patient care. We will accomplish this by:

  1. Living our Values Striving tirelessly to serve our community by providing the best ALS, BLS and non-emergency medical transport.

  2. Providing the best education & training for our professional staff.

  3. Promoting public CPR, first aid and other public safety courses.

We run a high class Advanced Life Support (ALS) adult and pediatric ambulance service from West Plains, Missouri area.

  We service the South 
Howell Area, but provide mutual aid to our surrounding counties. 

We have a quality, accredited paramedic training program and provide classes in a large selection of other EMS subjects including an EMT-B course.

As a service to our community we provide non medical transport at a relatively low cost for wheelchair and stretcher customers.
