LEGAL NOTICE

The South Howell County Ambulance District will call an election on Tuesday April 5, 2022. Positions below are for a three-year term.

Pursuant to section 115.127.5 RSMo., notice is hereby given to person/s wishing to file a declaration of candidacy to appear as a candidate for election at the General Municipal Election. Filing will open on Tuesday, December 07, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. and continue until Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 5:00 p.m.

Filing will take place at the Howell County Clerk’s office located at number 35 court square room 200, (The building on the north corner of West Main and Court Square.).

Ambulance sub-district maps are available for viewing at the County Clerk’s Office, or at the ambulance station located one-half mile west of the bypass on K highway. 

Declaration of candidacy will be accepted for the following offices:

Sub-District #3:            All of the area located within the Fairview R-11 School District, portion of the Howell Township; and all of the area located in the Richards R-5 School District.

 Sub-District #6:           All of the area located within the West Plains R-7 School District, portion of the Howell #3, Howell #4, Howell #5, Howell #6 and Sission precincts.

This notice is posted on the District’s Facebook page and will remain until the closing of the filing date.
