South Howell’s paramedic class is a nationally credentialed class through Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions via a site survey thru Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. The program Director is Charles Rader, I.T./Communications, Medical Transport director. Lead instructor is LeighAnn Russell, Paramedic, AAS. THe program takes place in a classroom adjacent to an EMS simulation center which includes a fully stocked ambulance and high fidelity patient mannequin.
